HOMEWORK POLICY
Due Date: Homework is due the Monday before class.
Homework Format: Type your name; class number and date on the top of each page and number each page. All homework must be in a typed word .doc or .docx format. This means no google documents or text edit. IMPORTANT: Save the homework with your name and class number in the title. This makes it easier to keep track of multiple homeworks from many students.
Purpose of Homework: We use the homework to help us assess your progress and know where you might need extra support. It is vital to your success in the program.
Late or Incomplete Homework: Please send homework on-time.
If all your homework is not completed, you cannot graduate.
If it is turned in late, you will not receive a meeting with the teacher and you will not receive any comments on the homework.
If you do not get the homework in by the Monday before class, YOU MUST contact the person you are to send the homework to and let them know why and when you will turn in the homework. If at the time of class start, your homework is not turned in, you must, on Friday, go to the homework room, to complete the homework and you cannot join class until the homework is completed. Furthermore, you must also either come in early and stay late until it is completed. So on Sunday, if it is not complete, you must stay here on Sunday to get it done.Teaching assistance can support you in this process upon request. You must also write-up what is your defense for not completing the homework on time.
